Description
An overhead crane, also known as a bridge crane, is a lifting system that consists of a horizontal bridge supported by runways fixed to the building structure. A trolley and hoist travel along the bridge, allowing loads to be lifted, moved, and positioned with precision across a large work area. Commonly used in factories, warehouses, and industrial plants, overhead cranes provide efficient handling of heavy or bulky materials while maximizing floor space and improving workflow. They are available in single- and double-girder configurations and can be customized for a wide range of lifting capacities and applications.
